Veracruz

Originally known as Camaron, the area was founded in 1934, and later renamed to Vercruz. Wildlife and beauty abound in this area, which has exquisite beaches that are extremely popular amongst locals and tourists over the holidays and weekends.

The area is surrounded by mountains which provide a back drop of idyllic beauty, which in turn exudes the serenity and peacefulness of the area. Due to the main economic activity being fishing and seafood based, a wonderful variety of fish and seafood is available in this area, which when prepared in the traditional way is a treat for any seafood lover.

Veracruz has already experienced a increase in retirees investment in the area, due to the former United States Air Force base being located nearby. However the value added and affordable property rates and prices in the area ensure that the real estate remains both affordable and accessible to retirees and investors alike.
