Sora

Around one and a half hour’s drive from Panama City, Sora is a small mountain town set in the highlands of Chame. With a splendid ocean view of the Pacific ocean, Sora offers retirees three valuable considerations, namely cool mountain climate, proximity to the beach and Panama City, and very low cost of property ownership (where you can own half an acre of land at very reasonable rates.)

Within the area, one can find beautiful sandy beaches, lush terrains, wide vistas, and world class golf courses. Bird watching and hiking are popular activities for nature lovers to explore and indulge. Additionally, Sora has a lot of shops to supply and cater to the needs of locals and tourist alike.  Recently, development for more infrastructure, tourist and residential areas are proving that Sora will be a preferred destination in the future, whether on a tourist or residential basis.
